Why would you get a "panther tattoo?" Black panthers are not a species themselves but a collection of many different cat species that carry a phenomena called melanistic mutation. So in essence panthers are not real much to the disbelief of the ignorant public. And the judges can do that, BECAUSE of the subjectivity. I haven't seen charlotte from this year (whatever happened to them?). Plus, twisters had no energy. The last thing they see needs to have as much energy as the beginning. When you watch that part, it looks like they're just going through the motions. Plus, cheer athletics MAJORLY saved that bobble, and the judges noted that most likely.

They don't have to be 'fair.' They go by what they see..and they saw a routine they liked better. YES, CHEERLEADING IS SUBJECTIVE. Meaning there's only so much you can score based on actuality. A fall is a fall, a touchdown is a touchdown, a major bust is a major bust. But as for creativity, execution, etc. That IS how the judges liked you and the judges liked how Cheer Athletics pulled it off.

whoever said they were sloppy must have been looking at another squad becasue this routine was very clean....And i must agree the judges were going off who they liked becasue up until this year F5 and CA had large senior L5 on lock...then u get this team that comes out of no where and wins...plz...the judges were trying to be "fair" and spread the joy around. well that was my teams first year at worlds ( all star legacy ) and i remember watching twisters and cheer athletics and charlotte ( the top 3 that year) and if the judges were really going off of skills then twisters would have won, if they were going off how clean the routine was then charoltte would have won, but the judges based it off of who they liked more... watch all 3 videos
