i live in levittown, ny and my Curves was one of the ones chosen for this new curves smart. It was just updated this week. I think its an awesome idea and cant wait to use it!

The Curves Smart is way better then when they didn't have it. It makes you work harder, and if you don't reach your target, it lows your target so that you can workout even better. I have been a curves member for about 3 years now, and you have to watch what you eat as long as workout hard. Everyone thinks different about curves, but I think you should really consider going back, i can guarantee you will see results.

For time spent working out I can assure you that nothing will do more than the CurvesSmart workout. Our members who mentioned being bored before have come to realize that their problem was an inconsistant workout. The smart system coaches members out of their bad habits and raises the workout to new levels. Try the new system - you might really lose some of that but.

Maybe you should have talked to the circuit coaches to see if there was somthing else you could have done, like the 6 week diet solution. Not everyone sees dramatic results within a year. As a member and now employee, I've seen both sides and I know I haven't lost because I haven't been strict with my eating habits, and excercise AWAY from Curves, like walking instead of sitting on the couch all night. I'd suggest trying it again, Curves is a great gym.

I was a member for a year and I WORKED MY BUTT OFF EACH TIME and I never lost more than 5lbs. I would never plan to come back even with this new "Smart" system. I can't see how these machines will give you more of an impact workout with the resistance and outdated machines. I think a gym would give you more benefit and weight loss. I found that after months of the same old work out (even though the machines are moved around-but it's still the SAME routine), you get bored.

Curves is a wonderful workout. I have loss seventy five pound weight and a total of 25 inches. Ladies this is something I could not do on my own. This also a challege for me , because I live 40 miles from the nearest Curves. I have workout a total of 157 times and enjoy every minute of it. sh_recreation

HOW DARE YOU be so RUDE!!! You dont know what she has accomplished with Curves! So what she doesnt have the body of a Barbie! SHES AN EVERYDAY PERSON! If you dont think that Curves is a good workout then you need to let you circuit coach know! She will help you to get the full benefit. Thats what they are there for! Why pay for it if you dont get the full benefit?? thats foolish! If its not a good workout why are there so many success stories, how come there all over the world!?

I love that Curves is for real women. However it is a weight loss program. When advertising a weight loss program it is only logical to sue someone who can inspire women to loose weight and not make them feel discouraged that it will never happen.

I agree with Cadetmquar defending the curves owner, that being said, she still needs a bigger shirt. Even if you're big, theres ways to wear your clothes that dont accent your flaws. I go to curves and hate it. I even joined a challenge to make myself go more often ughhhh sorry to set the curves owners in a tizzy, but its really not a gym.. 30 seconds on a machine, un-even reps, rushed sets. the owner acts like a general and seems like she has a stick up her ass! Cant wait til my year is up

can't believe the negative speak about this owner. How dare you make assumptions about her!I was overweight when I bought my Curves, but know what?I had lost close to 50 # thru CURVES when I bought my club-if you looked at me I'm overweight but how do you know how much progress I've made to get where I am.should I have bought my club only when I was at my goal weight? I think I am a better owner, I know the struggles of overweight women and can speak from experience.

The Curves rep should not be allowed to represent Curves a weight loss program in her condition. Why are these Curves owners allowed to look like this and then claim they have the answers for weight loss? Curves should have higher standards for the owners. Some of the owners here in NY are a disgrace.
