Yes.. 9 goals in 32 games for City, then 40 odd in 120 or so games for Stoke, not the best and not the worst either. I still stick with what I said earlier !

I'll tell you where I'm coming from: You said "he scored a lot of goals but was never really that good, he ended up at Stoke City" That's a contradiction because he was employed as forward and his job was to score goals and lots of them. Like you say, he scored lots of goals. That makes him good, shirley? He wasn't prolific, mind.

Not sure where you're coming from. If you think about goal scorers down the years, like Aldridge, Lineker, Rush, they were just poachers - they couldn't pass a ball, dribble, cross and had no tactical nous. Biggins scored a load of tap ins during a Division 2 season for City in 88/9, then disappeared off the radar. Come to think of it, why am I bothering to explain myself to you!?

Wayne Biggins cost Manchester City £300,000 in 1988 from Norwich City, and was instrumental in their promotion campaign, chipping in with 9 goals. This film does Wayne a grave disservice. He was later sold to Stoke City for a small fee where he was a great success.
