Donovan's a good guy and has certainly been a great player over the years, but it is indeed shocking that he wouldn't know THIS rule. Sure, ties don't happen that often (anymore) in the NFL, but it is still a pretty basic rule.

It is the coaches job to know the rules and the players job to perform on the field. It is so sad that people are blowing this so out of proportion. I know donovan mcnabb has played a few games in his career that have gone in to overtime. with that being said, how does he not know the rule? when he played in those games, win or lose, the game is over. if you know the game ends when the the other team scores in sudden death. then you know the game cant end in a tie. and if there is anybody out there who says this isn't a big deal, your crazy.

well asked which is more brutal, it is hockey by far...not because of the hitting cause lets be serious both sports have heavy hitters, but in hockey you have to worry about the hit, the stick, the puck, the skates.
