There are no scientific studies that prove the alleged benefits of the MonaVie juice. It's not been approaved by FDA. It is a typical multi-level marketing company, using the guise of direct sales to make the business look like a legitimate retail venture. The companys focus is on recruiting, rather than retailing the product. This product is just a highly overpriced berry juice. Its pathetic to see people falling for this kind of scheme.

mrs jonas....thanks for the reply. But, I guess that still leaves my question up in the air. Why would it be better to have the bottle at home if the nutrition is the same? I find the gel packs can be found MUCH cheaper for a months supply. If they are equal in nutrients, I would just go with the packs, even at home.

Believe me, I've read all the literature on the freeze-drying process. I know MonaVie contains goji berry, camu-camu, acerola and loads of other good things, but there's no objective data out there proving that MonaVie outperforms other juices and supplements. And if MonaVie was so committed to people's health, they wouldn't put sodium benzoate in the juice, which breaks down into benzene when it reacts with all that good vitamin C. Nuff said.

aerinmeister, What you dont understand is the Acai berry is Freeze dried as soon as it is picked. The rest of the Acai out there is not there fore it loses its potency before it even hits the shelves. Monavie may be expensive to you but if you think about the benefits of it, in the long run it is cheaper than medical treatments

Acai is everywhere now. The market is saturated as a trend just like green tea a few years ago. Here is the deal. Trader's joes has it, starbucks will soon but the proprietary blend Mona Vie uses is proven and researched. The Acai they use is preserved in a way that is 100 times more effective than any of it's competitors. The juice at Trader Joe's orac probably doesn't even hit the 100s.

I don't care how great acai is, at $45 a bottle, MonaVie is a SCAM. You can buy Bolthouse Farms Bom Dia! acai juices at the store for like $3.50 and you don't have to deal with getting stalker-called by desperate MonaVie reps trying to make a buck.
