I love the fashions back then but you can still look nice now. I would prefer to be in nice clothes from now than in the 1940's because clothing in general was less comfortable. More comfortable materials didn't start being invented until the late 50's.

You´re excused :D No, the light that is on is the MODELLING light, usually about 100/150 Watt. Around the modelling light is the actual flash (150 - 1000 W/s) which is triggered by the flash sender: If you look at it again you see the light is on, but when he takes his shot the flash goes off even with the modelling light on.

Seal is my all-time favorite singer, but this song SUCKS. Over-Commercialized, and this is definitely lip-synced. I appreciate that he loves his wife and wanted to give her a song, but this seems entirely synthetic, to make some bucks from the fashion reality shows. Price is pretty good though. and also, it's cheaper to buy Mary Jane shoes at regular stores than from an actual Lolita shop. It's really hard to find inexpensive lolita, but another option is to shop around for Lolita clothes at Anime conventions. Anime Boston has some Lolita vendors. the EGL community on LiveJournal has really a ton more info on Lolita deals than anywhere else, so I suggest you go there

it's hard to find lolita stores that are less than $100. the best I could find are: (online) Retroscope Fashions In The Starlight Bodyline (beware of their quality; you get what you paid for) Little Chili Lolita the best way to save up is to look for Lolita-ish blouses in stores such as Charlotte Russe, TJ Maxx, Forever 21, Wetseal...etc. better to pay $30 instead of $100 just for a blouse. note that these stores only sometimes sell Lolita-ish blouses. don't forget about thrifting too!
