Daffy Duck takes on the Nazis in this old cartoon. It was referred to as "banned" where I got it, but people keep saying they've seen it on TV recently so I guess it's just rare. :P
The two cards that provide the English translation appear to be blank, but I put the translations in through the miracle of annotations!

Yeah, they need to tell both sides of the story. Although nuking a country is something that is never easy to swallow, the US was against a country that, if they were to invade,would fight to the last man, woman, and children. This isn't a question about if it was honorable or unfair, it is a question of how many "more" lives it could have saved, since invading would increase the death toll of both sides, the time, and the cost. The nuke was drastic, but the US didn't have much of a choice.

no, but i havn't been there, have you? and im pretty sure they've seen pictures of black people or black people in the media before. Think of the olympics, some of the countries athletes are all black. The artist much have seen black people before. It wouldn't make sense that they would just decide to put a black person in their cartoon without ever having seen one before. They just chose to draw them differently, thats all.

This series was on ABC from 1990-91 (with reruns the following year on Disney Channel). I noticed a few interesting things about this cartoon... First there's a part where traditional music is played on a guitar. Second, the story gives the impression to be based on a Nô theatre piece. Third, I can't shake the impression it's a "Chinese ghost story" avant la lettre :) In the end the weirdest thing is, that it's drawn very much in the 30's American cartoon style and it's full of anachronisms in the storyline. Very uncharacteristic in my opinion, and therefore special :)

I like this short it shows alot of work in the early stages of the film, panning to the right or leftfocus out of focus all things you would expect to find in a real life action film. The fact that it is an animation is very thrilling. Something else that should be noted, this film reminds me of fantasa, watch it agian and ask yourself did ol'walt plagerize?????

Kids today have so many media outlets today, they don't have time to appreciate the shows for what they are. I admit, there was a lot of crap back then like there is today, but it means soooo much more when you have nothing else to turn too. LOL. But I really think they should bring back things like live action Game/Quiz shows and Super Toy Run/Nick-or-Treat for kids. Get involved with TV if you can. Not just watch it.

This is the original and best Real Ghostbusters intro. After a few seasons it became "Slimer! and the Real Ghostbusters" At which point the stories were dumbed down a bit, Slimer was given the ability to talk coherantly and given his own cartoon segment between two halves of a Ghostbuster Cartoon. As if this werent shitty enough, they made a new longer opening with more Slimer in it to emphasise his new place as a lead character. Man I hated that new opening so much.
