Absolutely amazing song. I spent an entire summer on the beach listening to this album and it will forever remind me of that time and still to this day takes me back. I also spent a lot of time that summer learning all the drum tracks to it. On The Dunes was quite challenging. The CD had a storyline in it, if you'll take the time to listen/read. The "Kamakiriad" is a futuristic car in the storyline of the album(cd). The vid fits perfectly with the lyrics. The B-3fills really get me on this one. The way he's got the drawbars set with the percussion button on is perfect for the song. It's also a great tune with several tricky modulations with the coolest one coming out of the bridge back into the last chorus, and has an instant classic kind of feel.

One of my all time favorite albums. The moods, stories, atmosphere & emotions the songs on this collection evoke is incredible. This came out when I was in art school. Most of us liked this, we were all into jazz, played it all the time. Great memories, have to thank the great Mr. Fagen for that. It was best to listen to this album at about 2am, with a cup of java, a paint brush in hand and an oil painting in front of you, set up on the easel, waiting for creation. Ah, that was the best.
