If you look at 3:33, his one bow string snapped. He also has a lot of rosin residue on the fingerboard and strings. Quite impressive, as to how long he could go on playing that hard. I love this song. I listened to it for hours after my wife passed away -- three years ago. "I'm leaving on that midnight train to Georgia because I'd rather live in her world than live without her in mine." It gave me a comfort then, and gives me memories now. I love the dedication expressed by Gladys.

I rememeber when I first heard the song I was living in a town in Georgia called Conyers and I heard it on my mom's radio when she took me to the elementary school and here it is almost 40 yrs. later and it still touches me. Keep it up Gladys u are one of the best female vocalist if not the best.
