i suppose only time will tell. The foreign markets they advocate have large cash reserves and are not debt based as we we are, this puts them in a significantly better position when this is all over, and i believe part of the basis for schiff and rodgers support.

Now, the difference of course between Rodgers and Schiff, compared to Cramer: You won't hear Rodgers and Schiff contradict themselves and try to mold reality to look as if they were correct in retrospect.

1) Rodgers - remains bullish on commodities and China. Obviously, both trades have been a disaster. How does he justify this call in the middle of a deflationary collapse ? 2) Schiff - Impressively called the current meltdown, but still advises foreign investment. I suppose there are some safe havens remaining (i.e. Brazil ?), but overall, this call was horrible.

If you wanted to make money, Jim led you down the wrong path. What part of that do you not get? I told my members to BUY BUY BUY. That made them money. I then told them to SELL SELL SELL last Wednesday. I speak only to the money-making opporunity missed: It's tough to be "clairvoyant" and miss that huge move. Now, Jim's on the opposite side.

I'm not a big believer in cramer at all, i prefer good ol pete schiff and jim rodgers. I guess i just view a few temporary gains from last week as a normal occurrence in a crumbling market. Some of the largest gains ever happened during the thirties, which im sure you know. My contention is simply if you call his prediction the worst call ever (1:00), it appears you would believe the opposite to be true. Perhaps you were referring to his 8-point plan?

I state the fact that the market move after his "market going lower" call was a stunning move higher. There is nothing implied about anything. If you believed Jim's story you missed great opportunity. Last, though, Jim disagrees with his OWN TAKE now. He now says we won't go down again.

I got scared last week, not just because of what Cramer said, but because of what everyone on CNBC seemed to be saying. I let it get the best of me and I did not take advantage of the bounce off 7500. I missed a lot of opportunity. Those opportunities are as gone as the Jim Cramer bobblehead on my desktop. If you want good advice, pay for it. You get what you pay for.

Cramer is no different than most of the money managers or talking heads you see elsewhere. The problem here is he's got a much bigger platform to cause damage to the average investor. Money managers tend to go with the popular opinion in a quest to not do worse than other managers. Few would dare to cry bear when the market is soaring. Especially when they have a prime time TV show with sponcers. It's almost as if they're there just to make avarage investors make the wrong dicisions.

On the one hand it is a brilliant move to get attention and make new customers for Don on the other hand it is a parasitic relationship like a flee or mosquito living off of Cramers blood. yeah he was def right about that, and that call is what got me to takin all this AJ stuff a little more seriously... im not sayin i agree with AJ bc he can be a bit of an irrational loudmouth, but that 50$ thing really hit home. i remember the summer and how everyone was lookin to oil 200$... if oil does spike agin in 6-8 months like he said, it will be interesting to say the least.
