You're right on it not being the government's fault about the deaths. The point was that Black Water behaved negligently in providing support to their personnel. PMCs are necessary to protect our civilians working in the middle east and elsewhere, the military isn't going to get involved. But because they (the US and UK) were wrong then, it doesnt mean they are wrong now. For example, the British empire was once fighting a naval battle to keep the slave trade running. first of all, im a former marine infantryman/served 2 tours in iraq, and an ic for blackwater. a mercenary is person who fights for any country who pays. we r private military contractors. and if this industry "dries up" the military will have more on its plate than it can handle which would cause more casualties and loss of assets. and they dont just hire any one, they hire former military/police swat and they go thru a rigorous vetting/security clearance process before hiring....

Well many interviews have been recorded from your own army where they state how trigger-happy many of the PMCs are, and how they tend to create as many conflicts as they resolve. Furthermore, many of these PMCs have made videos showing how indiscriminate they are with their aggression - whilst adding rock soundtracks - many of which they'd have heard from Vietnam war films they'd have watched growing up - I think that speaks for itself.

I see a lot of people who get into this type of work, and only do it on a short term basis. Some contractors will blow all there money within six months to a year after they come back. Cont. If we confront that issue, and not contracted security as a whole, we will have far more success. Also, why only blame Bush? He can only base his decision on what his eyes and ears on the ground tell him.
