This film inspires me so much. Cause like Vin Diesel, this film reminds me of myself, being a actor struggling in the movie business, because of my skin tone. I'm a light-skinned black man, and because of that, directors get turned away, but don't want to admit their bigotry over it. And it's shame too for black directors, who see that a light-skinned black actor like myself with great talent and character, but get color blind in the end.

I would definitely agree. While it may be easier to get into this technology for people that have never used computers or are older(like older parents, grandparents, immigrants), but for the classic mouse user many things would be harder virtually impossible like gaming. A RTS could be easily played on this, but not a FPS.

I agree; this is an important step in the right direction for "Human Interface Devices." I wouldn't say it's more complicated than a mouse by any means, but I also think it will be quite some time (if ever) before this technology will "replace" mice. There are plenty of things you can do with a mouse that you couldn't easily do with touch. (Gaming, for instance.)

Could he add texture to it? I mean it would be very difficult to control such things on the screen without the conventional sense of frictional touch on it. You will have to depend totally on your vision to determine whether you have "grab" a hold of things successfully, which puts a great burden on the eyes. I like this stuff a lot, I have had it on my iPhone for more than a year. It's not really "tech" though, it's just a technique of doing the same thing people have been doing for a long time. By the way, the keyboard isn't going to be killed by this kind of thing. Lack of feedback makes any on-screen keyboard useless for any serious typing.

By replacing computers, I meant replacing modern computers. Computers are defined by their interface, so therefore if it replaced modern computers, it would be replacing that input. Same way Apples replaced the computer (i.e. Microsoft Computer) by reinventing the input system.

The multiple colours are based on timing. If the guy on the right had lifted his hand at the wrong time, it would have reversed their colors. Basically, the selection of a colour is a click, which requires a down and an up event. It associates it with the pointer that creates the next down event. Tuning the timing on these systems is a pain. You may have noticed a glitch where, when they were both drawing in the same window, a grey line was created between them.

Of course, but the question was - How does it remember? It's not like dragging a mouse. You can lift up your hand, and proceed at another point. So, how do you know which finger is which pointer, if you will. Actually, in the meanwhile, I found out. Turns out that each man has a different electric potential (different charge), so on that, it determines the user. But if you do it with two hands (1 user), the charge is same, so there's no way to determine which hand you're using at what point.

I'm no expert on this, but my best bet is this: That drawing app is designed for MPX, so it knows that there is more than one pointer. When it's drawn on, it "remembers" what pointer selected what color.

The lag in Google Earth is because of rendering delays, not pointer delays. Obviously they use an old / cheap graphics card. The amazing thing about this vid is that it showcases unmodified applications, i.e. Firefox, running alongside multi-touch aware aplications. So no matter what you do, the center's will always be next to the same center it is. I think it s a great idea, looks cool too, theres one problem though, in WC3, if you have to extend your arms over the screen to select units you are blocking your own vision of whats under your hand/arm/body(especially in that multi-unit selection with both hands, wich is alot easier to make on the mouse "click and drag"), uhm, aren't you?

Hey man, nice vid, I have a question. I have the G25 but in GT Legends it really isnt setup properly. How did you use the H gears, especially how did you have neutral. For the steering can you have it so it moves the same as the G25? Just can't seem to get the clutch or gears to work, thanks in advance.

Is this game for the PS2? I have the Xbox version, but the controllers suck so much I have to use my controller adapter to use the PS2 controllers for the Xbox. I also wish this game had better sound effects. The art style is cool and resembles the KOF games while Capcom vs. SNK resembles more of the Street Fighter games.

damn good video. i wish i could play svc as good as you guy´s. is this the neo geo version of it? i got alot of problems with doing that combo stuff like you. the game just don´t feel that good with the controlls, like garou or samurai shodown but i love the art-style in that game. especially the reprinted capcom characters looks great. thanks for posting it. but next time please a better quality ;-)
