In order for your degree to be fully recognized, you must obtain the degree from an online university that is nationally accredited. If your school is not, chances are your degree is useless when it comes to finding jobs that require a degree. If the school that issues you a degree is not fully accredited, their school is not recognized as a university.
You should also know that tuition and programs vary widely, so do your homework and check out at least 5 different online universities in where you can earn your degree. This will allow you to compare tuition, time needed, whether the schools are accredited and other school information before making a decision.
